Islam is a religion that has 1.5 billion adherents across the world. Followers of this religion is called Muslims. It is an Abrahamic religion, and has many parallels to Christianity. The Islamic holy book is called the Qur'an. 

Christianity is like Judaism but more developed. It is centered around the belief that Jesus is the messiah. It is an Abrahamic religion. They are mainly located in western Europe, the Americas, and southern Africa. Their holy book is the Bible. mainly the new testament, which is accounts of Jesus's life and teachings.

Hinduism, followed by people called Hindus, has no exact founder. Their holy books are the Vedas, which are filled with hymns. 

Judaism is the last of the three Abrahamic religions. They believe that Jesus is a prophet, not the son of God. Jewish people are mainly located in Israel. Their holy city is Jerusalem. Their holy book is the Torah, the first five books being the law books. 

Buddhism is a religion that doesn't have a specific god, they follow Buddha, who is an enlightened human. Buddhists are able to practice other religions aside from Buddhism. It has 500 million adherents. They are mainly in Asia. Their are four denominations of Buddhists. Their beliefs are four noble truths and the right ways of thinking. I can't remember anything else. It is a very philosophical religion.
