Scientific Method-- the government uses speech recognition technology to stalk us.

Problem: Is Cortana, Alexa, Siri, and other products like so government tools?

Research:

·       These devices are always on and listening for when they are called

·       They hear everything

·       Needs to be connected to the internet to work

Hypothesis: The government is storing all the information they get from us talking near these devices and invading our privacy.

Experiment:

Cortana-

·       Hey Cortana, what was the last thing I asked you? “Sorry, I can’t help with that, but I’m always learning.”

·       Hey Cortana, who is your superior? “I’m sorry, I can’t answer that.”

Cortana is playing dumb. It’s Siri’s turn.

              Siri-

·       Siri, is the government listening to this? “I don’t know what that means.”

·       Do you have anything to do with the CIA? “I don’t have an answer for that.”

Pretty sketchy.

Data: Cortana plays dumb and Siri is nervously sweating.

Conclusion: My hypothesis was correct. The government is listening in on all our conversations and may use the gathered information.
